Holy Rosary Church gets a cemetery

Bengaluru, Oct 23: Archbishop Bernard Moras took time-off his schedules at the behest of Rev. Fr. G. Prem Arockianathan, parish priest of Holy Rosary Church (Venkatala-Yelahanka) to bless the newly acquired land in Srinivasapura (Bengaluru South) for a cemetery.  The parish erected in 1970 had a long felt need for a cemetery.

Fr Prem thanked the archbishop in the presence of Vishwanath (member of the State Legislative Assembly) and Municipal Corporators Munindra Kumar and Chandramma Thippegowda. Fr. Prem told the gathering “A long-felt pastoral need has been fulfilled and we are truly blessed to have the Archbishop on this happy occasion”  He thanked the archbishop for “going out-of the way from his marked schedule” to come and bless the land allotted for a cemetery.
