Bengaluru, Oct 22:  Bala Yesu Vidyalaya (a.k.a. Infant Jesus School) in the Infant Jesus Shrine campus had reason to rejoice with the Archbishop making provisions for more classrooms, a spacious staff room and a library-cum-audio-visual room. “We are privileged to have a ‘water unit’ to provide clean drinking water for our children.

Since children come from economic weaker families, we believe that they should have privileges that they may not have access to easily.  It is worth noting that our campus is getting greener and children are learning to respect the environment” Fr John Sudeep told the gathering.

The school has been a beacon of hope since 1981 to children coming from economically weaker sections of society.  img-20161025-wa0017At present, 1,385 students study at the institution.  Many who passed out from its portals are well-settled in life.

The Archbishop who blessed-open the new facilities was applauded by the school’s manager and correspondent Rev. John Sudeep, the staff and students.

The Archbishop reminded the gathering that “every endeavor to make our educational institutions better is focused on the Lord Jesus’ clarion call to
become the light of the World”.  “You cannot enlighten the world” the prelate added “if you are not enlightened yourself.  So seek to follow in the footsteps of Jesus the enlightened one who is our perfect example”.
