TUMAKURU CHURCH BLESSED WITH NEW MULTI-PURPOSE HALL
Tumakuru, October 25: The Parish Priest and Parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes Church (Estd 1931) in Horapet of Tumakuru district had reason to celebrate on October 25th, morning. A longstanding dream to have a multi-purpose hall to cater to the needs of both, parish and the school saw fulfillment with the Archbishop Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras blessing open the Lourdu Matha Institution Hall in the presence of a large gathering of parishioners and well-wishes. Archdiocesan Board of Education secretary Fr. John Rose, Archdiocesan Project Manager John Rosario, Architect John Furtado and Civil Engineer Arun Fernandes joined the Parish Priest Fr. Pradeep Kumar Z on the happy occasion.
The Archbishop who blessed open the Hall at 10.30 am was felicitated during a short program that ended 10.45 am. The Prelate stressed the need for both, parishioners and the school to make optimum use of the newly built hall in a way that promotes progress and goodwill in the parish community and school.
