“Don’t let Your Faith fade away” Archbishop tells communicants at Doddabalapura

Doddabalapura, Nov 27: 80 children listened with rapt attention as Archbishop Dr. Bernard Moras exhorted them in his homily “treasure this important day in your life always and ensure that your fade does not fade away but gets stronger and stronger every day”.   The Archbishop was present at St. Peter’s Church (estd 1990) in Doddaballapura, about 40km from Bengaluru city, to administer the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation and also to bless the newly constructed presbytery.“The newly constructed presbytery is  a sign of God’s love and care for all of you and the priests who serve you in this parish” the Archbishop said.

Parish Priest Fr. Chacko Kelamparampil (cmf) called upon the Archbishop to gift a statue of Infant Jesus on behalf the parish, to a donor family that have been contributing generously towards the needs of the parish.  The Archbishop was felicitated by the congregation and applauded for his many pastoral initiatives in the Archdiocese.  The parish has about 225 Catholics.
