The campus also houses St. Germain computer Academy established in 2013. The Institutions’ Director, Manager and Correspondent Vicar General Monsignor S Jayanathan greeted and felicitated the Archbishop, expressing thanks for his presence  at the start of the New Year. He also handed a contribution on behalf the institution towards the ASHA Trust that supports the education of poor children across the Archdiocese.
The Archbishop in his message to the gathering reminded the students of the great Abraham Lincoln who fought against slavery of the Black Americans. “Abraham Lincoln was filled with great enthusiasm and he was focused and contributed greatly to society. Each of you must also work for the good of society by cultivating a desire to contribute to society in different ways. A dark complexioned boy at a village fete asked a balloon seller selling different color gas balloons if even the black colored balloon would go up. The balloon seller told him it is is not what you are on the outside, but rather what you are in the inside that makes you go up in life. So cultivate values and inner zeal if you want to accomplish anything in life”. The Archbishop later hoisted the School flag during the assembly while the staff and students sang the school anthem.
