Newly appointed City Police Commissioner calls on Archbishop, offers New Year greetings

img-20170103-wa0043Bengaluru, January 03: N Praveen Sood, who was appointed as the 33rd City Police Commissioner on New Year’s Eve called on Archbishop Dr. Bernard Moras on January 3rd at 3pm and offered his New Year Greetings and spent at least 20 minutes in a tete-e-tete with the Archbishop. The top Police Officer held in much repute assured the Prelate of everything in his capacity and duty to ensure peaceful practice of religion after the Archbishop reminded him of Church attacks and vandalism in Mangalore and Bengaluru few years ago. The Archbishop also reminded the top police officer of the attacks at St. Claret School at Jalahalli. It may be recalled that N Praveen Sood, told media persons on assuming office “It is a great opportunity. I will do my bit on whatever it takes to keep the city safer and perhaps do something about the traffic”.
