The Baby Jesus beckons people of all Faiths: Archbishop Bernard Moras

Bengaluru, Jan 05: It was a sea of humanity with over 2,000 people gathering at Infant Jesus Shrine in Viveknagar for the first day that marks a nine-day novena at the internationally known shrine, January 4th. The Prelate, Archbishop Dr. Bernard Moras in his message to the gathering said “The Baby Jesus beckons people of all Faiths in the same way any child born in a family brings joy to all”. The Prelate spoke of living in peace with each other and respecting people of all religions. The Shrine he said was a kernel of hope and solace for many people and this is the reason why people flock to the shrine. “Prayers have been answered” he said adding “the mercy of God is boundless”.

 

Those present for the inauguration were Mr. J shiv Kumar (Corporater of Vanarpet), Mr. Dhwarknath (Corporater of Shantinagara), Mrs. Bhagya Lokesh (Corporater of Agram), Mr. Sridhar Reddy (Bangalore city BJP, Secretary) and Mr. Ram Chandra (Corporater of Ejipura). The Flag Hoisting was followed by The Eucharistic Celebration Presided over By Archbishop Dr. Bernard Moras and the concelebrants were Fr. Anthony Swamy (PRO), Fr. Balraj (Parish Priest), Fr. John Sudeep and Parish Clergy.
