St. Francis Xavier Public School

On Thursday 31st August 2017 at 11.00 am Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras the Archbishop of Banagalore layed the foundation stone for the new mission in the presence of Rev. Sr, Magaret Fatima Mary the provincial of St.Anne’s Congregation, Bangalore province, her councillors and religious sisters, Rev. Fr. John Rose, Secretary Archdiocesan Board of Education ,Mr. John Rosario, manager of Projects, Mr.John  architect , Mr.Naresh, the building constructor, 200 local people and newly admitted 25 children at Pavagada.  The school was named after the patron saint of Archdiocese St. Francis Xavier.

The entire program was co-ordinated and organized by the St. Anne sister at Pavagada. Fr. Shanthakumar, welcomed the gathering, Sr. Arokia Rosali honoured the Archbishop and welcomed him to bless the foundation stone.

Followed by the prayer service and blessing of the foundation stone of St. Francis Xavier Public School, T.N. Pete, Pavagada, the Archbishop. Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras  unveiled foundation plaque and said, “the investment of school building at Pavagada is not to get back the investment or profits in the future but for the service. Surely this investment will increase the moral and discipline life of people and will give quality education for the poor tribal and marginalized children who are deprived of education”.

Further he also expressed his gratitude to the sisters of St.Anne’s congregation and Rev. Sr, Margaret Fatima Mary the provincial of Bangalore for their tireless service and selfless contribution to Archdiocese of Bangalore.
