OUR LADY OF FATIMA CHURCH (HOSKOTE)

October 15^th 2017: The annual feast and the centenary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima was celebrated with lot of faith and devotion at Hoskote on 15^th Oct 2017.

Our beloved Archbishop Most Rev Dr Bernard Moras celebrated the feast mass at 4:30 pm. In his sermon he enumerated the history of the apparitions and emphasized on the need to heed to the message of our blessed mother of prayer and sacrifice today and now which is most important and urgent for our life of sanctification.

Thereafter to mark the Fatima centenary apparitions, the Archbishop crowned our Blessed Mother with silver crown and led the faithful who had gathered in large number with the “Jubilee prayer of consecration”.

As a memory of the centenary celebration, the parish “Family Record Book” was released and the beautifully decorated car was blessed by the Archbishop. The rosary procession with the decorated car which went on the important streets and the market places of Hoskote was a powerful witness of faith and devotion.
