Archbishop Most Rev Dr Bernard Moras Conferred Confirmation to 410 Candidates

7^th ,8^th, and 10^th November 2017: Thanks be to Almighty God, for the wonderful services that took place, at the 2^nd week of November, at Holy Ghost church. The sacrament of Confirmation was administered to 410 candidates belonging to various age groups and languages. It was done in three days by the His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, the Archbishop of Bangalore.  One cannot but admire the spirit, zeal and agility of the Archbishop for single handedly administering the sacrament to all the candidates and preach an inspiring homily based on the importance and relevance of the Holy Spirit in the life every Christian,  during the Mass and also gave Holy Communion to each candidate.

The Holy Ghost Church was packed all three days with parents, relatives and friends of the candidates. The candidates were well prepared in advance by dedicated teachers, sisters and brothers. Classes were going on a regular basis from June 2017. Prior to the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation there was preparation for the sacrament of Reconciliation. Rehearsals done a number of times made the whole ceremony go on very smoothly.

While girls were dressed in white boys wore black pants and white shirts. The sanctuary was suitably decorated for the occasion. The commentary given by Rev. Fr. Paneer Selva Kumar was very meaningful and relevant. Well chosen music and hymns added much flavor to the whole ceremony.
