Archbishop Most Rev. Dr Bernard Moras Celebrated the Holy Mass at Renewal Retreat Centre (RRC)

3rd December 2017: The 23rd anniversary of the inception of Renewal Retreat Centre (RRC) and the 17th anniversary of making all the services conducted here free of cost without any registration fees was celebrated in RRC on Sunday, 3rd December. The services started at 09.00 am with the Holy Rosary followed by preaching of the word of God and the Eucharistic Adoration. Rev. Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil who was released from the captivity of IS terrorists, shared his experience. Most Rev. Dr Bernard Moras led the Eucharistic procession and the Thanks giving Mass at 11. 30 am. In his homily he preached, on the life of St. Francis Xavier the patron Saint of the Archdiocese as the model and the example of evangelization.

After the Holy Mass, a public gathering was arranged. Rev. Fr. Joseph Mundolickal CST, the Director of RRC welcomed all. Rev. Fr. Antony Kannampilly, Vicar General of the CST Congregation felicitated the gathering. As the Archbishop celebrates the golden jubilee of his sacredotal ordination, he was specially honoured by Rev. Fr. Saji Mathew Kanayankal, the Provincial Superior of the Aluva province of the CST Fathers. Rev. Fr. Bineesh Mankunnel, the Asst. Director of RRC expressed the words of thanks and gratitude all those who made this day a blissful experience. After the services Snehavirunnu (Banquet) was shared for more than 8000 people who had come for the virunnu celebration.
