Archbishop Celebrated Holy Eucharist at Youth and Family Bible Convention held at Logos

13 January 2018: On the second day of the 4th Peniel Fest (Youth and Family Bible Convention) Archbishop, His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, offered Holy Mass and Delivered a homily based on day’s Gospel (Call of Levi). His grace arrived at Logos by 3.30 pm on January 13th 2018.  Fr. Superior Sebastian Padijarekuttu, together with Logos director Fr. Jose Vettiyankal, received him at the gate and accompanied him to the Church. After a few minutes of silent prayer before the Eucharistic Lord present in the blessed Sacrament, the Archbishop went to the main venue and sanctuary, together with other 7 concelebrants in procession for the Eucharistic celebration. Fr. Fr. Jose Vettiyankal, the Director welcomed the Archbishop and all those gathered.

The Archbishop delivered a wonderful and meaningful homily He said, in his homily “People go to hospital and consult doctor when they are sick. Likewise people go to Jesus when they are in the state of sin. Jesus loves even sinners and He saves them. Therefore, sinners should have complete trust in Jesus. Levi was a tax collector and Jesus called him.  He responded that call at once and his life got transformed. We also should respond to Jesus when He calls for repentance and transform our life. Further, the Archbishop explained the role of Youth in the Church”.

After the concluding prayer, Rev. Fr. Tinu Adapoor, the assistant director, proposed vote of thanks and Fr. Director offered a shawl to the Archbishop in appreciation of his grace’s paternal care and love towards Logos. After the final blessing his grace reminded the faithful to verify their voters list in time and make sure that they must exercise their franchise during the time of forth coming state election in the month of April and May 2018. He added that everyone must go for casting vote on the day of election.  All adults have grave civil responsibility to cast their votes.
