Fr.SelvaRaj Funeral mass on Thursday, 17th March 2016
Rev. Fr. C. Selvaraj (Chasara) died on 16th March at 3.30 a.m. at St. Philomena’s Hospital due to Acute Pancreatitis and Ischemic Heart Disease. Rev. Fr. C. Selvaraj (Chasara) was blessed with Alpha and Omega of his Priestly ministries in the Same Parish, St. Joseph’s Church, Briand Square, Chamarajpet. After his ordination he was appointed as the assistant parish priest of St. Joseph’s Church in the year 1983 and in the year 2012 he was appointed as the Parish Priest of parish. He breathed his last on 16th March 2016 when he was still parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church. Archbishop Bernard Moras, offered a mass for his soul along with other Archdiocesan priests at 8.00am in Sacred Heart Church, Richmond road.
According to his last wish the body was buried at mariapura not in the sacred heart parish Priest cemetery.
