Archbishop Dr.Bernard Moras, President of the in his AKUCFHR message to a gathering of over 500 people said “Christmas brings us a message of sharing especially sharing our resources with the less fortunate”. The Archbishop related a touching incident of a family who were returning with a bag of snacks and decided not to eat it but gave it away to a beggar. The beggar in turn did not eat it too and instead shared it with his family. The Archbishop reiterated the words of Jesus “Whatsoever you do the least of these my brethren, you have done it to me”. Bishop Samuel of the Church of South India said “It is a season where we cross over boundaries and a time to share the God of impossibilities with those who have not known him yet”. Dr. Raghul who represented the Hindu Swamy emphasized on selflessness saying that “Christmas is a season of giving ourselves for the good of others”
