Archbishop Bernard Moras says, “Be the Soldiers of Christ”

Bengaluru, Jan 20: Archbishop Dr. Bernard Moras presided over the Holy Mass at 10:00 am and prayed for around 300 Catholics gathered for the feast of St. Sebastian. St Sebastian Chapel is located within the MEG Military quarters, St. John’s road. In his homily the Archbishop exhorted the faithful, “To become Soldiers of Christ by being deeply rooted in their faith in Jesus Christ”.

The Archbishop appreciated the Army men for their patriotism and sacrifice for the nation. Rev. Fr Anthony Swamy the parish priest of Cathedral took keen interest in organizing this celebration for the Army men. Fr. John, Fr Selva Kumar (Hgn) and Fr Panneer Selva Kumar Secretary to the Archbishop concelebrated at the Eucharistic celebration. Following the Mass the new pastor in-charge from Shilong to the MEG quarters felicitated the Archbishop.
