Inauguration of St Anthony`s Church presbytery- Uttarahalli

St Anthony’s  Church presbytery – Uttarahalli was blessed and inaugurated on Tuesday 3^rd April 2018,  at   5 : 00 pm by  Most. Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras the Archbishop of Bangalore. Having received a grand welcome by the parish priest Rev. Fr. Jayaraj and the parish council member Mr. Johnson, and  the students of Stella Mary School with a bandset, the Archbishop Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras led all the faithful gathered into the ceremony of the blessing of the Presbytery.

On this joyful day the Archbishop also administered the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation for 35 Candidates belonging to  St Anthony`s Church , Uttarahalli. He said in his Homily, “To  live a better Christian life  all must Cling always to Jesus. In His Resurrection, Jesus promised eternal life to all of us. Therefore, we are called to bear witness to Him. Further the Prelate emphasized the First Holy Communicants and Confirmation students to love and read the Holy Scripture every day. The entire celebration ended up with the felicitation to the Archbishop by the Parish Priest Fr Jayaraj and the Parishioners.
